Reserve your tickets ahead of time if you can. $5. This particular show is pretty special to me since my parents have never seen me do anything on stage and I’m pretty sure they’re waiting for my “cute little career of doodles” to crumble at my feet so I have to go back to school at get a masters degree in something I dont give a fuuuuck about. So come to this show and prove to them that I’m doing just fine scraping by!
My mom and my stepdad are on a plane right now for their annual week long visit to NYC. The three of us are going to be crammed in my tiny Brooklyn studio this week so come Saturday, I might be a little bit completely off my nut. The comic below happened about 8 years ago but with a few minor differences, it’ll be applicable for forever.

Uh oh, I’m on a Star Wars jag (well, this quote is from Return of the Jedi)
“Sister….you have a sister….”
I never knew that!
I don’t, I have two brothers. my older brother just calls me “sister”
‘Hamster Sexual Identity Crisis Hotline” made my day. If you ever plan on touring stages around Germany, I’ll be there.
I thought the third panel would be my favourite, but then I got to panel five. Oh, that face…
I’d love to see the show, but NYC is much too far from Atlanta. Kick some ass and have fun this Saturday!
“Baby, mellow my mind” Neil Young? I had to google it and didn’t get a definitive response. I’ve been heavy into his album ‘Harvest’ in the last couple of weeks, so was intrigued. You have fantastic taste in music. A panel many moons ago had Dylan singing ‘I Threw it all Away’ on the hi-fi (Nick Cave says he wishes he wrote it!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB4R4shkpvY And since I don’t know anyone else who is familiar with ‘Nashville Skyline’ (which is a criminally underrated album), that makes you one bad ass chick. Is anyone even reading at this point? Shoulda just sent an email, for Christ’s sake.
yeah, it’s a Neil Young song, Mellow My Mind from Tonight’s the Night. I often reference (because I often listen to) the music I grew up with, which was a lot of folk/country stuff because my mom has really good taste in music. However she also passed down her love of cheesy musicals, which some might argue is in not such good taste.
aha!
Sorry, my bad!
