(update Dec 2011: this mini comic is no longer in print)
I have a new mini comic for sale! It’s 32 pages made up of five, long format childhood stories about imaginary siblings, death, sex, killing Jesus, nintendo, Chuck E Cheese, and flying monkeys. Only one of these comics has appeared online before (the shortest one) but all the rest have not been published online. But I don’t want to trick anyone into buying something they’ve already read elsewhere, as a few of these stories have appeared in other formats, so please read the first page of every comic to make sure you want to bust the bank on this $5 mini comic. So make sure to peruse the pages below, which are the first page to each story, before deciding!

These are pretty excellent. I like the story structure. Anyway, how many pages are there total?
32 pages!
jeez, julia, i’m breaking the bank here. just kidding, i can’t wait until mine arrives in the mail. very excited!
just bolonga & white american with mustard on a day old roll please.
Wouldn’t it be possible to offer mini-comics (well, mini, 32 pages is hardly mini) in digital form? I’m not sure how practical it would be with people copying it and stuff but it sure would help cut down on the overseas shipping and delivery time.
Did you say there was a print or two that you were gonna put up for sale, too? It looked like there was a hilarious one of you as a kid saying FUCK a lot. The reason I ask is that I’d rather not pay for shipping twice (for this minicomic, which I totally wants) and the print, if I can avoid it. Thanks!
yeah, I’ll be selling prints soon, but the shipping will be separate from the minis because of the way I have to ship them. But it should only be a dollar for shipping, like with the mini
What do you mean ONLY a dollar? I’ll have you know that a dollar can get an enterprising young person a trolley ride uptown, a double handful of penny candy for you and your stick ball team, family seats to the matinee double-feature AND a raffle ticket for the Farmer McPortnoy’s prize pig at the county fair! Oh. Wait. This isn’t 1923, is it? Yeah, a dollar’s dirt cheap. Gonna buy me’s a minicomic now.
Hi Julia,
I just want to encourage you to print stuff you have online.
Or make fancy new editions of stuff, if you’d like!
And I’m loving this comic!
You know people do buy stuff that they’ve already read (online or offline). Don’t worry about giving us absolutely new material in your printed stuff!
Sincerely,
Lauren
I remember playing Japanese Super Famicom games with an adapter I had to keep blowing out the dust of.
Oh god, I have to find out what happens with the Tylenol!
