I found this note inside a purse I bought at Goodwill. It bears noting that it was accompanied only with a receipt for $100 to a nail salon.

Stone Cold December 6, 2010 at 8:37 pm: Once upon a time, I was very cold/broke and went into a nearby thrift store to steal a coat. Inside the liner pocket of a huge fuzzy-inside leather coat, I found $50! Paid for the coat instead of stealing it, got enough gas to move my car somewhere with wifi, and enjoyed a hot, non-ramen meal. One of the best moments of my life.
